At Harvest, we believe the Church is the hope of the world and it's the Church that carries the life giving message of Jesus to a dying world. Thus, we believe the best way to advance the gospel is by planting churches. We believe this because we're living it.
In 2009, a small team from Red Mountain Community Church stood in front of its congregation and was commissioned to the city of East Mesa as a church plant. A few years later, that small team along with hundreds more, have become Harvest Community Church and together we’re now the ones called to raise up, resource, journey alongside, and ultimately to commission and bless new churches.
To advance this mission we exist as a partner church with Vision Arizona, a church planting network. Together, we can accomplish more for the kingdom. Vision Arizona churches commit to:
Parenting
Developing new churches by giving gifted people and necessary finances to qualified church planters from within our congregations.
Partnering
Joining with and serving churches and church planters in establishing new, reproducing churches as God gives them a vision for birthing churches.
Pioneering
Initiating church planting efforts in strategic communities and soliciting the partnership of existing churches.
Recruiting and Assessing
Identifying and enlisting capable and called church planters.
Training
Providing the materials and experiences required to equip church planters for effective ministry.
Coaching and Mentoring
Providing the ongoing relationships required to insure successful church planters.
